SCC has created a network of Youth Ambassadors for South-South Cooperation in order to promote exchanges of best practices amongst youth leaders of nations of the Caribbean, Central and South America, Africa, Asia and Arab countries. The emphasis will be on cultural diplomacy, including the use of scenic arts to strengthen peace and assist in achieving sustainable development goals. Thirty youth ambassadors have been appointed so far with about 20 more to follow suit. Their profiles and artistic expressions are described in the section on programmes.
Youth Ambassadors have already started working on concrete projects.
Jahir Rivera took an active part at the Manila Festival (December 2021). He subsequently performed at ITI Congress in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates in February 2023, followed by a presentation in Lahore Pakistan, a concert organized by the Colombian Embassy in Paris and then at the Festival of Latin American music in Belgium. Jahir has subsequently been asked to join the board of Directors of SSCC as Director of Culture.

Jorge Echeverry organized various events in the region of Cauca in Colombia relating to indigenous communities and joined the SSCC Chairman at a meeting with the governor of Cauca province in which he works, together with the cabinet in March 2024..
