 Two Members of SSCC Academic Board Meet in Riyadh

Johanna Kouzmine-Karavaïeff and Abdulhameed Al Saleh, both esteemed members of the Scientific and Academic Board of SSCC (South South Cooperation Council) recently met in Riyadh during Johanna's work trip to Saudi Arabia.
 
Johanna Kouzmine-Karavaïeff is a seasoned professional in the cultural sector, consulting and researching on solutions for governments and private clients. Her expertise lies in cultural strategy, leveraging culture for external relations and cooperation, activating arts & design based cross-innovation, fostering creative economy development. With two decades of experience in the culture and creative industries, Johanna brings a wealth of knowledge to the table.
 
On the other hand, Abdulhameed Al Saleh brings a unique perspective to the table as a sociologist by academic qualification and a retired Saudi career banker. Currently, he serves as a licensed financial consultant and is actively involved in community services, with a special focus on charitable and cultural organizations in an advisory capacity to multiple Boards of Directors. Mr. Al-Saleh has worked closely with other SSCC Board members, such as Cecile Guidote Álvarez, a UNESCO Artist for Peace, and has maintained a close relationship with the International Theater Institute, based in UNESCO in Paris and Shanghai.


The meeting between these two esteemed individuals in Riyadh was significant for furthering SSCC's efforts to develop and implement meaningful programs that harness the power of culture, creativity, and innovation to drive positive change.
