Following the completion of the Manila SDF event, SSCC, together with Dream center, Earthsavers UNESCO Artist for peace, promoted a tricontinental university alliance linking Latin America, Africa and Asia.

The first members of the alliance which is currently constructing its institutional framework, are Universidad del Pacíficoin Guayaquil, Ecuador; African University College of Communications in Accra, Ghana and three academic institutions in the Philippine: Philippine Normal University in Manila; North West Mindanao College of Science and Technology in Tangub, Osamis Occidental, Mindanao and La Salle University in Bacolod, Visayas.

Academic institutions and their presidents and chancellors held a webinar on 12th December to kick off this ambitious project. Other academic institutions are expected to join, and connections with Europe are also being considered.
