The Deputy Mayor of Manila, Hon. John Marvin Cruz (Yul Servo) Nieto Invited Mrs., Cecile Alvarez and SSCC Chairman to attend a special session of the Manila City Council at which it was announced that the twinning agreement between cities of Manilla and Cartagena de Indias, which SSCC facilitated, will be formalized in the near future. Councilor Número Uno Lim, which led the Council Resolution on Twining, also attended.
