Mrs. Cecile Alvarez and SSCC Chairman held a meeting with Mr. Yusoph J Mando, Commissioner of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos in the Office of the President of the Philippines. He expressed great interest in the forthcoming docufiction to be filmed on the island of Mindanao celebrating victories of Sultan Kudarat in 17th century leading to the current peace process on this island where the predominant majority is Muslim. A formal request for cooperation will be made in January 2023.
