SSCC Celebrates the Tree of Peace as an Official UNESCO Peace Symbol

The South-South Cooperation Council (SSCC) proudly acknowledges that the Tree of Peace, a monumental sculpture by its esteemed member, Hedva Ser, has been officially recognized as a UNESCO symbol of peace.

With 18 installations already standing worldwide, this remarkable artwork embodies the principles of unity, reconciliation, and global harmony. SSCC is actively collaborating with sponsors and Hedva Ser to extend this legacy by erecting two new statues:

Beyond the Tree of Peace, SSCC Chairman will also visit another major work by Hedva Ser – the Garden of Hope – during his trip to Krakow in June 2025. This visit underscores SSCC’s commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy and artistic expressions of peace.
