SSCC has created a network of Youth Ambassadors for South-South Cooperation in order to promote exchanges of best practices amongst youth leaders of nations of the Caribbean, Central and South America with Africa, Asia and Arab countries. The emphasis will be on cultural diplomacy, including the use of scenic arts to strengthen peace and assist in achieving sustainable development goals. This initiative follows the appointment of SSCC Chairman as Co-President of the Colombian Centre of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), UNESCO (Paris and Shanghai).
