SSCC and Partners Conclude COP29 with Press Conference in Baku

The South-South Cooperation Council (SSCC) and its partners concluded their impactful participation at COP29 in Baku with a press conference, outlining their collective vision for the road to COP30 in Belem, Brazil. The event highlighted their commitment to fostering collaboration and advancing climate action through cultural and technological innovations.

Vision for COP30 in Belem, Brazil

During the press conference, SSCC and its partners presented:

  • The resolution adopted on November 19th, which emphasizes the integration of culture and technology in climate action and peacebuilding.
  • Their strategy to work closely with Azerbaijan, the Chair country of COP29, as it continues to lead efforts until November 2025.
  • Plans to collaborate with the Government of Brazil, the host of COP30 in Belem, to ensure a seamless transition and impactful outcomes at next year’s summit.
