OptiCloud Joins Corporate Board to Support Climate and Indigenous Initiatives

Strategic partnership contributes to Cartagena’s Ancestral Wisdom Forum and COP30 preparations

The South-South Cooperation Council for Sustainable Development (SSCC) is pleased to welcome OptiCloud, under the leadership of CEO Vijay Karia, as a new member of its Corporate Board.

This collaboration further expands SSCC’s alliance with the private sector in advancing global sustainability, digital innovation, and indigenous-led climate action. Mr. Karia, who also serves on SSCC’s Scientific and Academic Board, brings with him a strong commitment to ethical AI and environmental equity through the work of OptiCloud.

The company is working closely with SSCC on the organization of the Ancestral Wisdom Forum on the Protection of the Environment, to be held in Cartagena, Colombia, on July 1–2, 2025, as well as on its global follow-up strategy. OptiCloud is also actively involved in SSCC’s roadmap toward COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

SSCC is grateful to Vijay Karia and OptiCloud for their financial support of the Cartagena Forum, a vital platform for indigenous leadership, cultural preservation, and ecological dialogue.
