NGO Forum on Climate Finance: Strengthening Global Partnerships for Climate Action

The SSCC continues to champion global dialogue on sustainable development. On November 14th, Chairman Viktor Sebek and Cecile Alvarez participated in a pivotal session on climate finance at the Azerbaijan NGO Pavilion during COP29 in Baku. This forum brought together key stakeholders to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: funding the fight against climate change.

 

Strategic Discussions with Global Leaders

 

Viktor Sebek engaged in high-level discussions with prominent leaders, including:

 

  • H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Aljarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, UAE.
  • Mr. Tural Aliyev, a senior official from the Office of the President of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev.
  • Ms. Barbara Blaudt Rangel, Director of Planning, Intelligence, and Tourist Development, Ministry of Tourism of Brazil, the host country for COP30 in 2025.

 

These discussions emphasized the importance of fostering international cooperation to finance climate action, underscoring SSCC's commitment to connecting diverse regions for a common cause.
