SSCC is very happy to welcome on its Scientific and Academic Board a distinguished leader in the field of culture in Jordan, Mrs. Lina Attel, Director General of the National Centre for Culture and Arts of the King Hussein Foundation in Amman, Jordan. SSCC hopes to strengthen its work in the Middle East through recent appointments of Abdulhameed Alsaleh in Riyadh and Lina Attel.

Lina is recognized for her pioneering role in introducing drama into mainstream education and the enhancement of the performing arts movement in Jordan, where she established the first National Interactive Theatre Troupe (NITT) in 1989. NITT produces issue based plays focusing on audience participation related to Women Empowerment, Reproductive Health, Gender Based Violence and Radicalization of Vulnerable Youth.
