A key focus of the discussion was the Philippines Government's endorsement of the "Cultural Resiliart Olympics," a groundbreaking initiative proposed by a coalition that includes SSCC. This initiative aims to promote cultural heritage as a vital element of resilience in the face of climate change and other global crises.

The Cultural Resiliart Olympics seek to celebrate the diversity of cultural expressions while fostering global solidarity. By spotlighting cultural resilience, the event aims to provide a platform for nations to showcase how cultural practices contribute to sustainability and adaptability.

The meeting marked a significant step forward in SSCC’s mission to promote South-South cooperation through innovative and inclusive initiatives.

This collaboration reflects the shared vision of SSCC and the Philippines for a more sustainable and culturally rich global community. The support from the Philippines Government is expected to boost the initiative's profile, paving the way for its successful implementation and wider recognition.
