SSCC was pleased to participate, through its Chairman, Viktor Sebek, in honouring the legacy of the great environmentalist and climate change activist, its former Policy Advisory Board member, Senator Heherson Alvarez. Viktor has worked with “Sonny” Alvarez for 35 years in many parts of the world.

Other participants in commemoration for the Earth Day, included Congressmen Roman Romulo, Toff de Venecia and Edgar Chatto and Senator Cynthia Villar from the Philippines, as well as Nasir Khattak of the Climate Institute, also a member of SSCC Scientific and Academic Board.
