SSCC congratulates its Policy Advisory Board member, and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Cultural Diplomacy on yet another success in promoting UNESCO’s Cultural Diversity and Road to Peace programmes: her large statue “Tree of Peace” was placed in front of the International University on Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand. H.E. Aziz Abdul Chakimov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of tourism , Mrs. Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director General of UENSCO for Education, and H.E. Umid Shadiev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan in UNESCO were in attendance.
