SSCC wishes to place on record its deep appreciation to Mrs. Mangala Wicramanayake, the Chair of its South Asian Office for her work in organizing a global conference on Water Quality which will be held in Sri Lanka on 2nd and 3rd August 2021. The Draft background document for this Conference which will bring together experts from South Asia, South East Asia, Africa, Caribbean, the USA, Latin America and the Arab world is enclosed below. The planning is still in progress and further details will be available before the end of 2020. At the request of SSCC Office for South East Asia, the final document, the Colombo Strategy of best practices will feed directly into the October 2021 Sustainable Development Goals ResiliArt Festival/Forum/ Workshops for health, well-being, peace and climate justice under UNESCO Patronage in Manila.
