Following their previous meeting in Mexico City on 28th November, the Chairman of SSCC invited Mr. Cesar Mantilla, former secretary for social inclusion of Quito Municipality and the current spokesperson of civil coalition of social organizations of Ecuador, to join the Scientific and Academic Board. SSCC extends a warm welcome to Mr. Mantilla who has also agreed to serve as the Secretary of the emerging SSCC Network on indigenous and afro descendant affairs.

Mr. Mantilla also participated in the discussions with Ambassador Ivonne A Baki.
